You feel your ready to play online???
First you need to consider your bank roll, what do I want my starting bank roll to be. In my experience its best to have a set amount before you even go to the site.I mainly use the 10% rule if I have 1000 in the bank I put 100 on the site I have chosen to play at.
Second is how long do I have to keep the money I deposited on the site.I found that it is usually 10 days they say it is so they know the check clears, but I feel that the check clears within 2 to 3 days ,but they will have you keep it on their site for 10 days ,so my advise is to make the deposit and then wait the 10 days to play on the site.I do this all the time and the reason is so that if I am up I can take it all with me and go to another site with lets say 150 out of 300 that I earned at the other site.
Third Ok you have waited the 10 days for your check to clear and now you are ready to play. You need to take the bank roll you deposited and find out 10% of that and start playing at a table where you will have at least 100 big blinds and wait for about 10 hands and observe the players and how their playing.There is a lot of information you can found out in 10 hands.
Forth is learn who the calling stations are or who is tilting calling every thing and loosing most of their hands.I love it sitting down and watching a person lose hand after hand after hand, Because I am going to pick on them if I have a hand or not I will push them around like we are in grade school under the monkey bars at recess. chances are you will win a lot of money from them and I found another way to get some one to tilt is to pick one person at the table and raise their blinds every time.No matter what keep raising their blinds it works trust me.Most people hate to have their blinds raised and in return they try to protect their blinds because they see it as money lost….
Fifth is do not go on tilt if you loose 10% of your bank roll that day you are probably tilting and you need to get up from your computer wright now!!!I have lost a lot of money going on tilt and it is no fun.Signs of tilting are you call every thing even when you know your beat and playing hands you know you really do not want to play, yelling at your computer is a great sign, and I am guilty of this one …….lol…… But what it comes down to is you need to get up from the table before your looking in from the outside on the rail ..
